What Are You Grateful For?

Hi, this is Dr. LeBauer, and for this week’s blog post, I wanted to spread some positivity and share what I am grateful for. Research shows that gratitude, or a gratitude practice is correlated with improved happiness and life satisfaction. I encourage you to start your own gratitude practice and hope you can use mine as inspiration!

I’m grateful for my health, my family (Andra, Sophie, Elena, my brothers, parents and extended family), my CashPT family, my coaching clients and my Platinum Mastermind & private coaching clients.

I’m grateful for our amazing team here at LeBauerPT and LeBauer Consulting. Amber, Kaitlin, Brenna, Jake, DaLisa and my business partner, best friend and wife of 15 years, Andra.

While this year’s Thanksgiving may look different, we still have a lot to be thankful for.

If it wasn’t different and challenging, we wouldn’t have an opportunity to learn and grow and if we are not challenged, we don’t grow from the struggle. If we let this opportunity pass, and dwell on it, then it’s only a wasted growth opportunity.

Next year is going to be THE year you grow and thrive. Whether that be in health, in fitness, in your personal life, in your family life, or in your career. There are so many people out there who need what YOU bring to the table. It’s up to you to take action and go to bat everyday, no matter how tough it may seem at the time. It’s 100% worth it when you have a clear goal and purpose.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my journey from DPT student to successful cash practice owner, from sleeping on a couch in the rain and seeing 43 patients per day as a DPT student to growing a thriving physical therapy practice and enabling other physical therapists to do the same.

I’ve been blessed with a body that moves and allows me to work with people, my car, my scooters and play with my kids and enjoy time with my wife. Even though I have the occasional ache and pain, I am able to lift kettlebells regularly, and I am able to see my massage therapist and physical therapist regularly to make sure that I am moving well, and resolve any flare ups that I might experience.

I’m grateful for all the extra time I’ve been able to spend with my immediate family this year, the evening bike rides this summer, our outdoor inflatable pool, the backyard movies, fire pit and our trips to the beach in NC. The extra time in nature has been a positive change in my life, and is also correlated with many health benefits.

I’m also grateful for all the people in Greensboro and the surrounding communities who trust us at LeBauer Physical Therapy to help them return to their active life without pain meds, injections and surgery.

And #1, I’m grateful for the support, love and encouragement of my wife, my kids and my whole family. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today nor writing this blog right now.

Happy Thanksgiving from the LeBauer Physical Therapy and Wellness family!
