Physical Therapy in Greensboro, NC

Are you looking for Physical Therapy in Greensboro, NC? If you are then you are about to read one of the most important Blog posts.

In North Carolina you do not need a physician’s referral or prescription to see a physical therapist. You can call the physical therapist or physical therapy clinic of your choice and make an appointment today. This is called Direct Access and allows you to seek treatment today and get better faster. You do not need to wait days to weeks to see your physician first before you seek treatment and an evaluation for your pain or movement problem.

If you have a herniated disc, a slipped disc or just back pain, you do not need an MRI, CT Scan or X-Ray before you are treated by a physical therapist.  A physical therapist can tell you what is wrong by watching you move, talking to you about your condition and touching your body with their skilled hands. You should leave your 1st appointment with an understanding about your condition and how to begin to treat it yourself the same day. If for any reason you do need further medical diagnostics, your physical therapist will know who you need to see.
