Do You Know When You Need a Physical Therapist?

Do you always know when you need to see a physical therapist?  You may know when somethings is not right and you need see your physician, and you usually know exactly when you need to go to the emergency room.

Hopefully after reading my blog you know that you can see a physical therapist first, before you see your physician, when you have pain or a movement problem.  This path into the healthcare system is much less time consuming and has been shown by research to cost less healthcare dollars and patients spend less time in therapy.

What is less clear is when a visit to your physical therapist can help you prevent an injury that may be waiting to happen.

My colleague and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Jarod Carter, made an excellent video that can help you determine if you need the help of a physical therapist to prevent injuries.  Call our office in Greensboro, NC today 336-271-6677 if you have any questions, have any of the positive findings in the video or find that any of the following tests create pain or discomfort in your body.
