Heal yourself with Myofascial Release and a small inflatable ball.

Myofascial Release is not only an awesome and highly effective treatment technique to receive during a therapy session, it can be used at home and this is what makes it stand out from the crowd. Self Myofascial Release using a small inflatable ball feels good, can reduce your pain and symptoms as well as prevent them in the future.

I teach all of my patients how to use a ball, but you do not need an appointment with me to learn how to do this at home, and this is where the Myofascial Stretching Book plays a significant role. It has over 50 pages of pictures, instructions and diagrams to teach you how to use an inflatable ball to release your muscles, fascia, knots, and restrictions. It also teaches how to stretch the fascia which is different than a muscular stretch.

As always, please use common sense, do not work, exercise or treat yourself  through sharp and shooting pain and if you feel like your problem or pain needs further evaluation by your physician or physical therapist, please give us a call.

Just hear what my patients who have relived their pain using a ball for self treatment have to say:

“After each session/appointment, I would find that the next day I am able to move with greater mobility and less discomfort. I could get back on my bike! Dr. LeBauer made recommendations for continued stretching exercises that would help with my lower back. I love the ball he gave me to help my back.  Dr. LeBauer has a wonderfully kind demeanor, a very compassionate personality and really cares about you as a patient and as a friend. I feel that I have greatly benefited from this type of therapy and will continue in the future.”

“When I started the treatment I was in constant pain and restricted in my daily activities. My back hurt and many of my other muscles were tight and stiff.  Now I feel much better. I am much more flexible and the pain is much less. After every session I have felt improvement. The best advantage of this treatment is that I have learned to treat myself with stretching and exercises with the therapy ball.  I still get pain but now I can deal with it.  I still have a way to go but I am getting there.

Thank you Dr. LeBauer!”
